The Heartfelt Award

Kristi of Mom's Own Words has given me "The Heartfelt Award!" This is a very special award because it is given to blogs that give you a nice warm homey feel, full of heart.

Kristi is a stay-at-home-Mom who works on the side as a technical writer. She also does product reviews for just about anything from book reviews to recipes. And even the latest in pet trends. Personally, I like the recipes. LOL Cos I need all the help I can get.
Many many thanks to Kristi for this wonderful award! It is truly an honor!
Now as for the people I'm going to pass this on to... Their blogs are all chock full of heart. You feel like they're old friends even before you've even had a chance to finish reading one posting. Give yourself a gift and spend some time with them.
Here are the rules:

1. Display the logo.

2. Nominate up to 9 blogs that make you feel comfy or warm inside.
3. Link to your nominees.

4. Let them know they have been nominated by commenting.

5. Link to the person from whom you received the award.

OK...Here are the 9 new nominees:
Amanda of Confessions from Household 6 is an Army wife with two boys. She says she doesn't sugarcoat things, but I gotta tell you, there's an awful lot of warmth over there.
Angela at Vintage Soap Shoppe does so much more than make soap. She is also an incredible pastry chef. One look at her latest baking triumph will make you wish she sold that as well. She also makes a point of supporting other artists on her blog.
Beth of What I Should Have Said doesn't hold back any of her heart from her readers. She's a mom, a wife, and an elementary school principal. Which means she's seen a lot of life. And lucky for us, she's not afraid to talk about it.
Carol of Crawl, Carol, Crawl!!! has given her blog a funny name to make fun of the heroic efforts she's made on her journey from couch potato to marathon walker for charitable causes.
Mare at Moon & Stars Studio writes a little bit about everything...home, family, dogs, painting, jewelry, needlework, and her home in beautiful upstate New York.
Suzanne of Periwinkle Studio is a jewelry designer specializing in really beautiful dichroic pendants. In her blog she writes about the ups and downs of life, as well as about her kids and pets, who sometimes help those ups and downs along. LOL
Mavens of the Pen is a group blog of writers. Some of them are published, some aren't. And they belong to a wide collection of genres. But all of them are fun to read. They write about everything and sometimes even nothing. LOL
Shalonda of Shalonda's Blog likes to focus her blog on reviews and interviews related to YA books. But she still pours plenty of herself into everything as well. I suspect that's the secret of her success.
Wezz of The World of Wezz is a jewelry designer who does incredible bead weaving, the likes of which I can only gape at in wonder. She also designs greeting cards and has an irrepressible wit and a healthy, happy view of life even during its darkest days.

My love and congratulations to you all!

Beth, you're so very welcome! Your blog is made for this award. I love the feeling of your most recent post especially. And since there are several teachers in my husband's family, I appreciate how hard your job is.

Thank you, Susan and Dellgirl!

I'm doing fine, trying to put together a new blog posting and looking through some of my old writing stuff to see if there's anything worth reviving. Not really. Most of it deserves to be buried. LOL

I'm so behind, had totally forgotten you left me an award, The Honest Scrap Award. Was going through emails in a constant effort to get organized, and spotted it. I'm not sure if I even got around to thanking you. If not, sorry; and if I did...twice is better than not doing it.

Looking through your blog I see it, and did just now save it to my computer; but am unsure what to do with it. That is, what it's about and how to pass it along. These awards all vary a bit, so thought I'd ask.

There have been lots of wonderful donations, hope you'll swing by and check it out.

Sandy

Sandy, I gave you that award in order to call attenion to the important work you do. And I'll probably give you more awards in the future for that same reason.

With winter coming, I think you already have your hands full of important work. But I thank you very much for getting back to me. Many many blessings to you and to all you work with!
